Way of Attaining Liberation

According to revelations received in Santhigiri Ashram, South India, the most dynamic way of attaining mukti -spiritual liberation- is through a fully realized Guru. This same opinion is shared by great souls in the spiritual arena, such as Swami Vivekananda, Sri Narayana Guru, Krishna, Adi Shankara. You can find a more detailed explanation in the following chapter: "Guru-Disciple Relationship in Different Philosophies"

Righteous thoughts, words and actions are important to achieve liberation, but meditation, prayer and the repetition of a liberated Guru’s name, are primordial in the Guru margam -path of the Guru. You must always keep in mind three things, devotion, faith and surrender to the Guru are essential to evolve at a tremendous speed. According to this era -Kali Yuga- the Light of God is realized by ‘Namasamkirtanam’ or recitation of the holy name of the Yugacharya Guru -spiritual guide or preceptor who dispels and removes darkness from its followers in a certain era. Salvation is practically impossible to be achieved through efforts of man alone but requires Guru’s grace.
