The Grihastashramis
(Homebound Disciples)

    Among the devotees, the homebound disciples also carry with them the responsibilities and dedication that are expected of the sanyasins -renouncers. Only the parents who keep their soul almost uncorrupted, can procreate children having divine nature. In the great tradition of spiritual purification and advancement, the Great Souls, that are wanting in astral planes for taking birth, will get opportunity to incarnate for completing their mission, only when there are parents having adequate spiritual purity. The achievement of this eligibility, for such a glorious mission, is indeed the hallmark of the Grihastashrami devotees of Santhigiri.
